As a College and Career Coach I have watched families struggle to find answers for important information to help plan for life after high school. I have created this guide to address many of the questions, learn about your options, discover career opportunities and help you get organized.
One of the most powerful parts about this guide is that it is not just about college. It offers information about apprenticeships, military, other types of education and training and much more. Mari Jo Parks founded Finding Your Future a Career and Educational Consulting Company. She specializes in assisting high school students, homeschool students, and young adults in their journey into the next steps after high school.

Mari Jo Parks founded Finding Your Future a Career and Educational Consulting Company. She specializes in assisting high school students, homeschool students, and young adults in their journey into the next steps after high school.
She has helped students and clients work through the maze of finding the right career path, education, financial aid, scholarships and applications to colleges and programs. She also works with families to assist in the process and support their student.
Mari Jo has authored numerous articles, developed courses, and conducted seminars around the state. She created the Alaska Construction Career Fair, and the ‘Get Real’ financial awareness workshop.
Prior to opening her business, Mari Jo taught high school for 25 years. She was instrumental in developing model programs for job training and placement of students who experienced a disability and at-risk students in both the school and community.
